The summit cross is made of wood with a carved Jesus on it.
"The Neunerkoepfle (Neuner head) is a 1,862 meters above sea level. A. peaks in the Allgäu Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol.
The summit rises southeast over the village of Tannheim in whose district it is located in the Tannheimer valley. The prominence of the Neunerköpfles is at least 22 meters, its dominance 200 meters, where the bird Hornle reference each mountain is.
A first mention in the Schmitt'schen Map of West Germany as head-liners in 1797 is presumably an incorrect spelling. August Kübler wrote in 1898 in volume 29 of the Journal of the German and Austrian Alpine Association, that the mountain "Neunuhrköpfle" hot should, as seen from the Tannheimer district courts from the sun is at nine clock over the top ".
