Prince Edward Island Road webcams are operated by the Prince Edward Island Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (TIR). They are mounted on tall steel towers, most of which have weather sensors included on the tower. The sensors measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and wind direction and speed.
The webcam pic below is more or less real time and will update every 30 to 40 minutes, depending on conditions.
This highway webcam is at the corner of Blue Shank Road (Highway 107) and Highway 2, commonly known as the All Weather Highway, looking southeast down Highway 2. This is about 2.5 kilometres southeast of Kensingston.
