Jesse Edward Wiseley was born on 3 December 1889 in Cassville. His
FindAGrave entry records an interesting letter that he sent home from France during his enlistment in World War I. Although he talks (perhaps jokingly) about bringing home a french girl, he married Orpha Rowenan Patton, a local Cassville girl who was about 3 years younger than him. She died at the young age of 50, while Jesse went on to live another 39 years, to over 101 years old, dying on 11 September 1991.
