The mosaic consists of three separate strips of colorful tiles, as well some pebbles, that depict native wildlife and plants. The strips of tiles are part of the amphitheater seating in the storytelling area. Mosaic depictions are of native fauna and flora, including a great egret, wood duck, American coot, American alligator, white-tailed deer, beaver, numerous species of butterflies, plants, and other vertebrate species.
