St. John the Evangelist Church was founded in 1902 and has served the spiritual needs of many persons throughout Latrobe. Although Saint John's started out “downtown,” the parish later found a home on the north side of Latrobe. Over the years our parish has continued to serve the community. In 1999 the parish dedicated a new church building.
