301 South Main, once the Bank of Carthage, has been altered by having a third story added and removed. However, its rock-faced Romanesque marble facade, which replaced the pre 1888 brick one, ties in well with the architecture of the Square.

The building appears to be in good condition.  It is currently use as a deli and ice cream shop
