Locomotive Mural - Claremore, OK - Murals on Waymarking.com

Steve Stephens has two murals in downtown Claremore. This one was painted in 2014 and is located on the east wall of a two-story bicycle shop on the corner of N. Muskogee and W. Will Rogers Blvd.

The mural shows the front of a locomotive (No. 15) "breaking through" the building's brick wall, and the "framed" painting on the wall. The effect is very clever and startling. The mural is painted on a frame mounted to the brick wall. A small sign reads: "Public Art Mural purchased through the generosity of the Union Pacific Railroad Foundation".

At the bottom of the mural, the identification shows "(c) Steve Stephens 14" and the website "TheMural Artist.com. (visit link)
