The Source Fountain is at the beginning of a waterway that meanders beside the path until it spills into Claisebrook Cove 500m to the east.
The inscription on a plaque on the wall surrounding the fountain and pool reads;-
'This fountain represents the unquenchable energy of the water that lies beneath the city streets.'
The artist who created the fountain was Nola Farman
