The townhall of the city of Herten was built in the 1950th by the architects Hinderkott + Kamperhoff in the typical architecture of that time.
The building adjoins the Schlosspark Herten and is located 400m northeast of Schloss Herten.
The clock is mounted on the easter brickwall of the townhall. You can see it from Kurt-Schumacher-Straße.
The dial and the hands of the clock are made of steel and they are of white colour.
