Tucumcari is a city in and the county seat of Quay County, New Mexico. The population is over 5,000.
The welcome mural painted in pastel colours in cartoon/caricature style, with with mostly sky blue, & dessert background. To the left of the sign the mural features a bow legged Cowboy wearing an oversized hat. The Welcome sign with the text reads, "Welcome to Tucumcari, New Mexico, - Land of enchantment." & sponsors details.
