"The mural is dedicated to the memory of Manuel Joaquim Holguin and Woodlake's fallen heroes who gave their lives in support and defense of the United States and the freedom for which is stands. Woodlake will remember and honor their sacrifice.

Phillip Jose Barba September 20, 1950 - November 20, 1970. Vietnam War.
Leonard Daniel Montes. June 1, 1951-May 16, 1971. Vietnam War.
Manuel Joaquim Holguin August 29, 1984 - July 15, 2006. Operation Iraqi Freedom
This mural depicts Army Specialist Manuel Jaoquim Holguin interacting with local children hile serving in Baghdad, Iraq and honors his coimmitment to freedom for both Iraqi and American future generations.
