Die Teufelsmühle lag am nord–westlichen Rand des westlichen Fischteiches. 1957 waren die Grundmauern der genannten Mühle noch im Hertener Schloßpark erhalten. Die Mühle wurde von einem Nebenarm des Holzbaches angetrieben.
The devil´s mill was located at the northwestern shore of the western fishpond. Until 1957 the foundation walls of the mill could be visited in the Schlosspark. The mill was moved by a distributary of the Holzbach.
The millstone is situated 50 m away from the northeast corner of the castle beside a footpath.
