Le nouveau siège social de l’Association de la construction du Québec est le premier édifice certifié LEED de l’arrondissement d’Anjou et l’un des seuls dans l’est de Montréal. La certification a été officialisée lors d’une cérémonie qui a eu lieu le 22 janvier 2014.
Le bâtiment de l’ACQ comporte plusieurs particularités :
1. Un mur-rideau constitué d’un verre triple pour une insonorisation maximale et une abondante lumière naturelle
2. Une performance exemplaire concernant l’utilisation de plus de 40% des matériaux obtenus dans un rayon de 800 km du bâtiment
3. Une optimisation de la consommation énergétique avec une enveloppe performante, un éclairage efficace, des mesures de récupération de chaleur, un système de thermopompe décentralisé et un système de gestion du bâtiment. La performance énergétique est environ 30 % plus efficace que la norme exigée par le Code modèle national de l’énergie pour les bâtiments
4. Une performance exemplaire concernant la réduction de la consommation d’eau, à l’aide des appareils de plomberie (douche, robinet et toilette) et l’aménagement paysager sans aucune irrigation
5. Une performance optimale concernant l’utilisation de produits de finition à faible teneur en COV (composés organiques volatils) et une réduction des CFC dans les équipements de chauffage, de ventilation et de climatisation
6. Une réduction de la pollution lumineuse
7. Une réduction des îlots de chaleur avec l’installation d’un toit blanc
8. Une utilisation de matériaux neufs à contenu recyclé : acier de structure, verre, béton, colombages métalliques, tuiles acoustiques, gypse et laine isolante
9. Le détournement de 62 % des déchets de construction vers des centres de tri
10. Le confort accru des occupants dans leur espace de travail, des supports à vélos, un accès à un gymnase.
The new headquarters of the Association de la Construction du Québec is the first LEED certified building in the borough of Anjou and one of the few in the Montreal-East. The certification was formalized at a ceremony which took place on 22 January 2014.
The ACQ building has several features:
1. A curtain wall consisting of a triple glass for maximum noise insulation and abundant natural light
2. An exemplary performance on the use of more than 40% of the materials obtained within a radius of 800 km of the building
3. Optimization of energy consumption with performance envelope, effective lighting, heat recovery measures, decentralized heat pump system and a building management system. Energy performance is about 30% more efficient than the standard required by the Energy National Model Code for Buildings
4. An exemplary performance on reducing water consumption, using plumbing fixtures (shower, sink and toilet) and landscaping without irrigation
5. Optimal performance for the use of finishing products with low VOC (volatile organic compounds) and a reduction of CFCs in heating, ventilation and air conditioning
6. A reduction of light pollution
7. A reduction of heat islands with the installation of a white roof
8. use of new materials with recycled content: structural steel, glass, concrete, metal studs, acoustical tiles, gypsum and fiberglass insulation
9. The diversion of 62% of construction waste to recycling centers
10. The improved occupant comfort in their work area, bike racks, access to a gym.
