The elementary school was built in 1954 alone with the George Albert Draper Gym which was completed in 1955. The architect on the building was Rich & Taylor Associates of Boston. The land for the school was provided by the estate of Frances Eudora Draper, daughter of George Draper. Her house was demolished for the construction.
