The 100m long Coogee Jetty extends into Cockburn Sound and is a popular place for fishing for Bream, Flounder, Herring, Skipjack, Cobbler, Flathead,Tailor and Crabs . During the summer months the beach and the jetty are a safe place for kids to swim .
