Halfway between Písek and Protivín, in the picturesque village of Selibov, water goblins and fairies from the Tálínský pond, elves, and other fairytale creatures meet. Those wanting to see them with their own eyes must visit the mysterious Fairytale blacksmith’s shop.
This museum of Czech fairytales includes almost seventy fairytale characters. There, you can meet water goblins, fairies, Hansel and Gretel with the witch, Little Red Riding Hood, blacksmiths, devils, and other creatures who have settled in this ancient building. Further, you can see blacksmith’s tools and even make your own fairytale character in a creative workshop.
