This dedicated outdoor plaza-style park was designed and built by Convic Australia.
The Youth Activities Area is an all-day free open area, and is popular with skate, BMX and scooter riders. It received a 5 out of 5 star rating from the 2010 Australian Skate Park Guide.
It contains an array of cutting edge design features and street obstacles such as metal-edged banks, bank ramps, drops, gaps, ledges, manual pads, rails and stairs. These features also double as seating, stages and areas for other sports such as basketball.
Music and night-time lighting are an integral part of this imaginative skatepark.
