This is a beautiful memorial to Will Rogers by the Cherokee Nation.

Born in nearby Ooologah, Will Rogers was one-quarter Cherokee. In memory of their honored Cherokee citizen, the Cherokee Nation presented this monument to him in November, 1946. It is located next to the entrance to the Will Rogers Memoral Museum in Claremore.
Recessed in the white stone wall, this arched granite monument is engraved:
