The Assembly of God is one of three churches in the little town of Metaline Falls, the others being a Church of Christ and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

This church is situated right in the centre of the summertime action. That is to say that the town's ball diamond is right across the street. The location is a youngster's dream - run out of the church on a Sunday morning and right across the street for a game of scrub, which, some weekends, may last until nightfall. For the younger youngsters there's a playground right beside the church.
The building itself is rather interesting - rounded roof and rounded roofed portico, and a bit of a false front. It makes us wonder what the original purpose of the building was.
