Hong Kong Harry is shot at Heathrow. He is carrying a large amount of gold to be able to buy Midas. Steed bumps into Freddy, an ex colleague, who has been on the trail of Professor Turner, a man with an obsession for gold. Turner has created Midas, a young man who is immune to deadly diseases and can kill by touch.
Turner has a client, Vann, a South American who wants to take power by killing his country’s princess. The New Avengers have to stop Vann and Turner.
