A nice, new community centre, this multi purpose building houses an activity and meeting centre, the Ione public library and the North Pend Oreille outlet of the Institute for Extended Learning, a branch of Spokane Community College. It offers GED courses, skills training and enhancement courses and continuing education classes.
There's not a lot of parking available right at the centre, only street parking and a small parking lot in the rear of the building.
