St Mary's, Earl Stonham, is on the A1120 between Forward Green and the A140 at Earl Stonham. This is a well preserved cut-mark on the base of the tower.

A well preserved cut-mark on the south-west tower buttress of this lovely old, C13th, church. The tower is late C15th. The mark was last verified in 1970 as being 35.834m above the Newlyn datum, and is 0.60m above ground.
