Iron ore
Iron ores are rocks and mineralsfrom which metallic iron can be economically extracted. The ores are often rich in iron oxides and vary in color from dark grey, bright yellow, deep purple to rusty red.
Limestone
Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed mostly of the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate. Most limestone is composed of skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral or foraminifera.
Dolomite
Dolomite is an anhydrous carbonite mineral composed of calcium magnesium carbonate. The word dolomiteis also used to describe the sedimentary carbonate rock, which is composed predominantly of the mineral dolomite (also known as dolostone).
