This bench is dedicated to Hilda Rosenthal by Gerald A. Rosenthal and Ronald Vardy. It was placed in 2008. At the top of the commemorative plaque are the words "Stop...Rest...Contemplate...Enjoy" The bench consists of precast concrete embedded with pebbles. It is located at the high point of the Scenic trail and provides views east to the Verde River valley and west across the McDowell Mountain Regional Park to the McDowell Mountains in the upper Sonoran desert.
