This artistic bus shelter is the work of artist Joe Tyler. It is screened on all four sides to provide shade. Each side has an arched opening surrounded by a band of leaves. It supports a peaked roof surmounted by a cupola. There is a screened space between the roof and the cupola allowing an upward flow of air from the seating area. Atop the cupola a ball supports crossed rods pointing to the four cardinal directions. Atop that is an arrow giving wind direction. The entire structure is of rusted steel. The front of the shelter bears a sign reading College Garden Station. The standard mass transit sign is supported by a a metal arc and is top by a butterfly. The back of the shelter has a solar panel powering the lights within.
