This benchmark is a gray metal disk cemented into the top of the east wall of an irrigation control structure on the northwest corner of Ray Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert Arizona. The disk is approximately 18" above ground level. The disk is inscribed in an arc across the top with the abbreviation S.R.V.W.U.A. Under that, in an arc, the word BENCHMARK. Below that, in a straight line, the abbreviation ELEV. And below that LOCATION. In an arc at the bottom of the disk is the word ENGINEERING DEPT.
