Carnduff is a town located at the intersections of Highway 318 and 18 in southeast Saskatchewan and named for its first postmaster, John Carnduff.
The original Carnduff settlement was a mile and a half west of the current location. It was moved in 1891 when the Canadian Pacific Railroad came to the area and wanted the town built on land owned by the railroad. It became a village on March 29, 1899 and in 1905 it was given Town status.
