This tall gray granite multi-war memorial was erected by the citizens of Lonoke County in 1988. although dedicated to all veterans of Lonoke County, this memorial is engraved with the names of every person from Lonoke County who fought and died in each of the American wars in the 20th and 21st centuries.

The dedication of the memorial reads as follows:

"Dedicated By Citizens Of
Lonoke County
November 12, 1988

We Dedicate This Monument To All Lonoke County Veterans With Roll Of Honor For Those Who Died During War Times

Greater Love Hath No Man Than This, That A Man Lay Down His Life For His Friends. John 19:13
