Next to the Daily Progress newspaper office in downtown Claremore is a sculpture entitled "All I know is what I read in the papers." It depicts "Oklahoma's Favorite Son" sitting on a park bench with an open newspaper. On the ground near this bench is a bronze plaque commemorating Will Rogers and announcing the presence of a time capsule beneath the plaque. The plaque reads:
