A small concrete monument with a brass plaque was added to the Veteran's Memorial Plaza on the southeast corner of the Saline County Courthouse grounds as a Bicentennial project in 1976.
The plaque reads as follows:

Two Revolutionary War Soldiers Who Chose Saline County, Arkansas
As Their Home.
After Enlisting In The Spring Of 1777, They Served
Through The Winter At Valley Forge And To The End Of The War In 1783.
