Twin granite tower monument dedicated to all victims of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center with special note of the FDNY firefighters who died as well.. The twin granite blocks are connected by a piece of steel from the WTC that was recovered after the 9/11 attacks.
The monument project was begun in 2009 with a hoped for completion/dedication date of 11 September, 2011, the 10th anniversary. However delays caused by Hurricane Irene pushed the dedication date to October, 2011.
