This Civil War plaque and flagpole are located in front of the Hostess House, a WWI building located at the former Camp Fremont and relocated here.

Located in front of the historic Hostess House (now MacArthur Park Restaurant) is a flagpole and monument containing numerous plaques. One of the plaques is dedicated to veterans of the Civil War. It reads:

THIS PLAQUE WAS DEDICATED AND PLACED
IN POSITION ON DECORATION DAY
