The boat ramp used to gve access to the E. V. Spence Reservoir. Today it only provides a close-up parking place on the Paint Creek which connects to the Concho River. It's a great sunning spot for snakes and a fun jumping off point to explore what used to be underwater.
When the historic Texas drought ends, the Spence reservoir will fill up again, and this ramp will again serve its intended purpose. For now though, the lake is waaay over there -------------------->
