I recovered this cadastral survey cap from 1980 in good condition. The mark is a 3 1/4" aluminum cap mounted on a steel post projecting 10 inches above the ground. The COR is 1 foot north of a wooden fence post and surrounded by rocks and just east of a road turnoff leading south into an open meadow and onto Klamath National Forest property. From the stamping on the cap face, this 1/4 section corner marks the point defining Sections 14 and 15 in Township 45 North, Range 3 West. The cap has the designation stamping of 'LS 4385' along with the year '1980'.

The COR survey is located approximately five miles west of Hwy 97 if you're heading west on Ball Mountain Little Shasta Rd.
