USGS 'RS 101' BM - Siskiyou County, CA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this U.S. Geological Survey triangulation station/benchmark from 1932 in good condition. It is a brass disk monumented on top of a large boulder and about 50-60 feet east of Ball Mountain Little Shasta Rd. The boulder is very visible from the road (even on Google Maps). This station is not listed in the NGS database and is listed on a topography map as 'BM 4325'. There is a wire fence about 10 feet east of the dirt road and the station is located on private property so enter at your own risk. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this station.
