Almost all of the sculptures in Oslo's Frogner Park (there are approximately 150) are by Gustav Vigeland. This is just one of them and is located on the western side of the central bridge at the northern end.
It depicts a two young men apparently wrestling or performing acrobatics. One young man lifts the other over his shoulder while he lunges forward.
Unfortunately, none of Vigeland's works have placards which inform us of a title for the piece...and the poster of this Waymark was unable to find a catologue online. The name of the Waymark will be amended if additional information comes forth indicating the work's true title.
Vigeland constructed the sculptures from 1924 to 1944...but again, there is no information at the site about each individual piece's date.
