Here the Burlington Northern runs along the south (left) bank of the Kootenai River as it heads west into the city of Libby. Libby creek isn't very large, and the bridge is only about 90 to 100 feet in length. The design is that of a Warren Through Truss with verticals. It rests on concrete abutments on each end and has only embankments for approaches.

The day we photographed the bridge, there was roadbed work going on in the vicinity.
