This single lane deck truss bridge once carried Champion Haul Road over the Kootenai River and the railroad on the south bank of the river. The bridge is about 600 or 700 feet in total length, with three central deck truss spans on concrete piers and two girder approach spans. We've not been able to find the construction date of the bridge, nor the date of its decommissioning. It is now part of a recreational trail which passes over the river.
