The big blue building at the back of the parking lot certainly does say "Masons". When we visited there happened to be a Shriners utility trailer parked at the lodge. We assume that's its usual hangout.
The lodge meets every second Thursday at 7:00 PM, from April to December. Dark months are January, February and March. The painted sign on the side of the building indicates that this lodge was established in 1912, 103 years ago this year. After receiving a Dispensation from the Montana Grand Lodge, Libby Lodge No. 85 was created in September of 1912. There's a
little story of its creation at the Montana Grand Lodge website.
