Two Ikarus "caffee" buses
Two buses are on permanent display in the hall of main bus station of Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.
Ikarus buses were used for public transportation in the city before they were converted into caffee place Dallmayr Kaffee.
Each of them is missing one side - they are parked next to each other and merged together to offer more room for customers.
You can enjoy your caffee while waiting for your bus every day from 9am till 8pm, on Sunday only afternoons.
But bus station hall is open almost 24/7 (except late at night), so you can actually see these buses at almost any time.
Just don't ask me how the hell they get up there, I don't have a clue!

Kto by si to bol pomyslel, že legendárne Ikarusy 280 sa stanú trvalou súcastou bratislavskej autobusovej stanice na Mlynských nivách – na prvý pohlad je to neuveritelné,
ale je to tak. Na prvom poschodí autobusovej stanice v Bratislave sú vystavené dva Ikaruy 280 v sýtocervenom nátere.
Zaujímavostou je spojenie týchto autobusov do jedného odstránením lavého a pravého boku na autobuse. Spojením týchto autobusov sa zmenil aj ich interiér.

Cakanie na autobus do Vašej cielovej stanice si tak môžete spríjemnit pri chutnej kávicke v netradicnom prostredí.
Reštaurácia by mala byt otvorená denne medzi 9. a 20. hodinou, v nedelu iba popoludní. Autobusy však môžete vidiet skoro non-stop na poschodí.
Len sa ma nepýtajte, ako sa tam preboha dostali.
