Nejbohatší z meštanu toužili podobat se šlechte, kupují si titul a erb. Bohatý rezník Petr Scheitenhauer z Fulneka si nechal prestavet starý šlechtický dum v sousedství zámku (1583). Také on zasadil do zdi svuj erb. Ješte jednou zacal být tento dum znám, když byla v roce 1612 popravena manželka majitele, Ludmila Melicharka, údajne za padelání penez. Ve skutecnosti se nebohá žena dopustila nevery, zamilovala se do podvodného širitele falešných mincí Kašpara Rotha a v prevlaku za muže mu dopomohla z brnenského vezení.

In his desire to imitate the nobility the wealthiest townsman purchased a title and coat of arms. Wealthy butcher Petr Scheitenhauer of Fulnek had an old manor near the chateau converted (1583) and he also had his coat of arms set into the wall. This building also became well-know in 1612 when the wife of its owner, Ludmila Melicharka, was executed for reputedly forging money. In actual fact the poor woman committed adultery, she fell in love with fraudulent distributor of false coins Kašpar Roth and she disguised herself as a man to help him escape from prison in Brno.
