Right in the heart of the town, the theatre opened its doors for the first time in 1912 and has been in business continuously since. Today it shows a single feature per night, from Thursday to Monday. In 2013 they updated the hardware to include surround sound and digital projection.
The theatre is at 215 Dewey Avenue, which is also Highway 93, on the west side of the street.
The Majestic opened in 1912 and has been in continuous operations since opening. Carl and Eee Dee Parshall have owned and operated the theatre for the last 37 years. It is open during the summer showing one feature a night at 8pm Thursday thru Monday. The entire auditorium is panelled in pine from the floor to the blue ceiling. A flat attraction panel adorns the front of the theatre above the entrance.
