Historic Hubbard Landmark
Hot Well Sanatorium
Magnolia Manor
G.R. Murphy
1907
--
Magnolia Manor was the sanatorium for a resort that was here, based around a hot mineral water well that was drilled in the 1890s. By the 1920s, the pipe to the well had clogged, which contributed to the decline of the baths. The accompanying bath house burned in 1934, and the hospital was converted into housing in 1935.
