Farmer's CO-OP
ELEVATOR E.M.
Phone 21[the rest is gone]

The old Farmer's Coop Elevator was built in 1920. It was the first elevator built in town. The elevator is constructed of clay tiles. The elevator was the largest of the elevators built in that era with a capacity of 30,000 bushels. The elevator was built after the Santa Fe Railroad built a branch line from Waynoka to Buffalo providing an efficient means for the transportation of wheat for the local farmers. The elevator is in good condition though has been replaced by a much larger concrete elevator.
