Mr. Gary Back, 63, of Vacaville passed away on March 10, 2008, in Vallejo after a three- year battle with pancreatic cancer. Gary was born on June 6, 1944, in Brownsdale, Minn.
Gary worked at Travis Air Force Base in Civil Service. He was also in the USAF Reserves. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and an avid Harley-Davidson rider who enjoyed hunting, camping, NASCAR and his grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mona; daughter, Shelly Blanton (Pat); son, Tim Back (Emily); sister, Shirley Playle (Bill); brothers, Gene Back (Judy) and Keith Back (Norma); five grandchildren, Austin and Riley Blanton, and Lillian, Lauren, and Ava Back; brother-in-law, Ernie and Heather Garcia, Gil and Lisa Garcia, Mary and Rick Hook, Jeannette and Carlos Caulk; and 18 nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dorothy Back; and his brother, Allen Back.
