The Gusta Adolf's Pear takes its name from the hill on which it grows. It's the remain of the non-existing orchad, which had dated to 16th century.

The tree is about 80-100 years old. It's about 12m height, and the girth (measured in 2006) is 252 cm.

It's age and dimensions are extraordinary for the genus, therefore since 1996 it's under the protection of the law as the nature monument.
