The Freed Company, Historic Route 66, 415 Central Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM, built 1920
"Back in 1920, Max Freed opened the Freed Company Store on Central Avenue in downtown Albuquerque. They sold merchandise from all over the world, and the store smelled like incense. They had wonderful beads and trinkets, cowhides, and belts. The Freed Store closed in 2000." Text Source: (
