Located on Main Street in Malin is the Malin Historical Society building. This former bank is now a historical museum containing many artifacts and displays highlighting Malin's past as a community developed by Czechoslovakian transplants from the midwest in the late 1800s. Among the relics here is a neon sign that once graced the front of the former Malin Drug Store, now closed. The sign was relocated here to the museum and still lights up, harkening to an era long past in this sleepy little town.
