The Warriors Chapel at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity in Hamilton is a place of deep reverence and respect for the contributions of the men and women of Bermuda who have served or who have died for freedom in wartime and peacetime. This memorial plaque is one of several in this chapel.
The plaque reads as follows:

BERMUDA VOLUNTEER RIFLE CORPS
1894-1946
In July 1892, an act passed by the Bermuda Legislature authorized the creation of a force of 300 men for local defence. In 1894, the Bermuda Volunteer Rifle Corps was formed and in 1929 was affiliated with the Lincolnshire Regiment.
During the 52 years of its existence, 232 men of the BV art the saw active service in two World Wars: 1914-1918 and 1939-1946. 60 of these men gave their lives.
Erected in the year 1969 in memory of those who served in this unit both at home and abroad in time of peace and war."
