The monument has the floral trim that is common to many zinc markers, and there is funeral draping near the apex. Each child has two panels:

Weeping angels are below the draping, with "Little Gertrude Cubley, Aged 2 Months." on the base. The adjacent panel features a child below the draping, with "Happy infant, early blest; rest in peaceful slumbers, rest." on the base.

A lamb is below the draping, with "Little Claud Cubley, Aged 3 Years." on the base. The adjacent panel has a cross, draped with roses, and the inscription "Sleep on, my sweet one! Sleep! So early gone; To Earth a child is lost, To Heaven a cherub born." on the base.
